The Great Cow Run
Rain, Lightning, Thunder and the start of the 3-mile course under power lines. This is the situation where the Orange Lutheran Cross Country Team found themselves Saturday morning. However, every athlete was asked on the line, “How’s the weather?” and as practiced all answered, “Perfect.”
The first meet of the season took place at Cerritos Regional Park last Saturday and through all the mud and rain smiles could be seen on every Orange Lutheran fan, coach, athlete, and parent.
After a long morning of racing the Orange Lutheran Lancers left with 9 awards.
Awards earned:
Girls Varsity Champion – Megan Lane (10), Erin Bode (12), Rachel Brown (10), Juliet Basnett (9), Kaylyn McElroy (12), Madeline Ong (9), and MollyKate Smith (11).
