Basketball

Our purpose is to uphold the mission of Orange Lutheran High School by placing an emphasis on building lasting Christian relationships, finding a true passion for the game of basketball, striving for excellence in academics, and developing each player to maximize their athletic ability. 

• The Orange Lutheran boys’ basketball program will focus on building relationships with each other as teammates, with the coaching staff and in our relationship with God.  
• We will help each player find a passion for playing basketball and help them to understand how being passionate about something can lead to success in other aspects of their lives. 
• The basketball players, with the support of the school’s teaching staff, will strive to excel in the classroom and become leaders in the academic community. 
• We will compete on the basketball court to the best of our ability.  This would include developing our players’ athletic ability and working in a team setting to maximize the potential of all of our athletes. 

All members of the Lancer basketball family (players, coaches, and parents), as members of a Christian community, will work together to uphold these goals in the classroom, on the court, and in the stands.
